Corpse Bride
I found this beautiful lady at last year’s zombie walk in Seattle. This shot has since gained popularity since I gave the zomBcon promoters permission to use it. Looking forward to doing some more zombie photography this year.
My previous blog post about the event.
The First Eight Months
Connor was born on September 2nd, 2009. That was a little over eight moths ago. Looking through his pictures I can see him grow and change. Here’s a snapshot of Connor’s life so far in the next ten pictures. It’s so hard to choose just one shot per month to do justice to both his looks and personality.
At just a few minutes old, Connor just took his first breaths.
An outtake from his first photo shoot at eight days old.
Almost one month old.
Almost two months old.
Connor’s three month birthday.
Christmas eve in his Santa suit. Almost four months.
Five month birthday.
February 26, 2010
Seven months old. He can sit by himself now. I haven’t seen that stuffed dog in a while.
Almost eight months.

Connor @ Eight Months
Connor is now eight months old. He likes baths, mushed bananas and walks in the park. One of his favorite toys is a plastic turtle that squirts water. It’s in the shot above next to his foot. It is very fun to chew on. I have a feeling that he’ll be crawling very soon. Click on the small images to see them full size.
Tulip Festival
We drove Connor up to Mount Vernon Washington this weekend for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. It was about an hour long drive through some beautiful countryside to get there. I knew that we would have some very nice photo opportunities. I wasn’t the only person with pictures on my mind. I spotted a few serious photographers while we were there. I used both the 24mm and 50mm to get these shots.
Connor’s Friends
Yesterday Connor spent the morning playing in a pile of stuffed animals. It’s so much fun when most of your stuffed friends are bigger than you are and you can still lounge on them. My Aunt Leigh says, “I think everyone should see these pictures so all know NOT to get him stuffed animals at Christmas!” I think that one cannot have too many stuffed friends. Connor agrees. Check out the tongue in the shot below. He’s been doing that constantly for the last couple of days. He must be trying to touch his nose. He’s probably watching that Gene Simmons reality show when I’m not around… And what great looking little feet.
Connor @ Seven Months
Connor turned Seven months old yesterday. He can now sit up by himself while eating toys. Remember last month when he was still lying around on the floor? He still does that, but sitting is his new favorite thing. It was a great day to shoot. The sun finally came out and gave us a lot of great light. Click on the small images to see them full size.
Connor @ Six Months
It’s hard to believe that Connor is already six months old. He’s actually almost seven months now as I write up this post. The Hawiian shirt picture was actually his birthday and the one above was a few days earlier. On this next birthday shoot I’m sure that I’ll get some shots of him sitting up all by himself. He’s getting pretty good at it.
Tigers
I just realized that I didn’t have any shots of Connor wearing any adult sized hats yet. He looks just a little worried wringing his hands. Probably because the hat kept falling down over his face. Connor has a cousin now. His name is Amedeo and is 10 days old today.
Pumpkin Patch
The day before Halloween we took Connor out for his first visit to a pumpkin patch. He was just a few days shy of two months old. The sun just setting and the light was about as perfect as I could ever hope for. See more pictures from the trip at my other blog.
Connor’s First Christmas
Connor had a great time on his first Christmas. He wore his favorite Santa outfit and everyone loved it. This photo was taken on Christmas Eve while the house was clean and there was perfect light coming through the front of the house. He’s laying on his beautiful, homeade quilt in front of the tree. I love the bit of drool that is almost ready to leave the bottom of his chin. Have a Happy New Year!
